Centron Energy Savings Technology Corporation (GES) is the manufacturer in China and exclusive distributor in the Philippines of GES 4th Generation LED Lighting Systems. As described in its mission statement, the company aspires to be a major proponent in helping solve our global environmental crisis through carbon reduction, as well as providing technologically superior LED Lighting Systems that promote energy savings and significantly lower electrical costs to the end-user.
Tracing its origins 12 years ago from a simple computer hardware and software company named Strong, Centron Energy Savings Technology Corporation (GES) emerged 3 years ago as Centron Communications Technologies Filipinas Co., Ltd. (CCTF), a communications equipment company providing cellular signal stations and repeaters, until it began pursuing its current endeavor as a professional manufacturer in the energy savings product field.
Today, GES is an internationally recognized leading manufacturer of LED Lighting Systems under its registered trademark of the GES LED brand. GES is the sole accredited working partner of the CHINA SCIENCE LED LIGHTING CORPORATION (CSL), an organization under the CHINESE ACADEMY OF SCIENCE (The People's Republic of China's top official scientific research institution) recognized in the Philippines. With the strong support and cooperation of the CSL and the Academy of Science, GES is rapidly popularizing the use of LED Lamps for street lighting in the Philippines.

Usually, in the theory of LED has a life of 100,000 hours, and then, currently on the market, common LED finished lamp life is 3 years in light of not less than 15%, is praiseworthy for one's excellent conduct. Its purpose is to better help the heat conduction, thereby prolonging the service life of the LED lamp. In the GES S-COB packaging technology, with a base heat can meet the demand, therefore, need makes the cost of expensive metal material to make the lamp housing. Fourth generation products of GES used the shell of the plastic material with superior quality and durability. This product has a longer life, better performance and price was reduced instead.

The EMC Program

there have been reservations up to the present regarding conversion

Practical
Innovation through Fourth Generation LED
LED has long
been internationally recognized as the most viable replacement for
conventional CFL products with its benefits far outweighing the cost
considerations.
In particular,
CFL bulbs are not environmentally friendly, and are hazardous,
especially to children's health. The lifespan of a CFL bulb is around
1 year, but its glass tube will take 5,000 years to be degraded.
Every bulb contains 0.5mg of mercury, each gram polluting 300 tons of
soil. In summary, the short term benefits of CFL will take its
devastating toll on our future generations, meaning the children of
today.
There
are also short range adverse effects on our children, for example is
near-sightedness. In school or at home, day or night, children are
exposed to CFL light. Studies shows that CFL lights, because of their
difference in brightness and color to
Natural
light, greatly affect the physical development of children, not only
to their eyesight, but possibly to their general health, causing
stress, over fatigue and anxiety. More than convenience and cost, we
must consider the safety and well-being of our children.
According
to the guidelines of the European Brightness Association, the
frequency of electrical consumption must be noted, as it may cause
headaches and directly affect sight sensitivity. In the Philippines,
the frequency is 60 Hertz, meaning the light from an ordinary bulb
flashes 60 times per second, which may cause near sightedness.
LED
lights are generally considered safer to use because they supply
lower frequency to protect the eyesight.
Other
research also shows that studying or working under a daylight
fluorescent for one day is equivalent to the ultraviolet exposure of
sunbathing for one hour. Ultraviolet directly affects the human
immunization system and destroys white blood cells which turn to
destroy proteins.
LED
lighting products do not have ultraviolet radiation, and therefore do
not attract insects. It is not only healthy, but a sanitary product
as well.
